Follow-up

  • The intensity of the colour in the test line region (T/B/A) will vary based on the amount of SARS-CoV-2 and/or Influenza A B antigen present in the sample. So any shade of colour in the test region (T/B/A) should be considered positive. A positive result indicates the presence of COVID-19 and/or Influenza A/Influenza B infection. The result should be discussed with a healthcare professional and local guidelines should be followed to prevent spread.
  • As with all diagnostic tests, positive results should be considered with other clinical information and discussed further with your GP.
  • If results are negative but symptoms persist, then we recommend you inform your GP to discuss further.
  • Self-tests in isolation are not a substitute for seeing a doctor, and results should be considered alongside your symptoms and medical history. You should not make a diagnosis or start any treatment without a consultation with a doctor or a trained healthcare professional.
